700-year-old Fort Berwara functioned as a wedding venue when Vicky Kaushal and New York-based actor Katrina Kaif tied the knot. Fort Berwara is located on the outskirts of Chittorgarh in Rajasthan, India. The fort was once owned by Rajawat Rajputs , a high-ranking ethnic group of the Rajput caste . This formidable monument to previous times stood in as an Indian wedding venue for two of Bollywood’s brightest stars in what was reputed to be a highly exclusive affair with over 200 security personnel involved. Local police regulated three gates into the fort while there were reports that the event organizers used black cloth curtains on the walls to prevent photographers from getting any shots on cell phones or otherwise. The exclusive gala was enough to attract media attention with reports detailing how local photographers weren’t allowed into the events although drone cameras had no trouble making their way past such feeble obstacles.
